Dr. Gert Thompson   – I like “Leaving My Brother’ House” because it is definitely an interesting easy reading book. The content is both easy to understand and easy to follow the story line. Inspirational, real life content, liberating to anyone who will open themselves to the reality of their inner pain of emotional distress or should I say emotional bondage, shame, guilt, unforgiveness of self and others, low self-esteem, acceptance of who you really are in God. It has, sandwiched between its pages, impartation you may have been waiting on for your spiritual jail-break. Herein is another sacrificial life entrusted by God to bring deliverance to many. Leaving My Brother’s House offers many invitations to prayer with God a bonus of poetry to accompany some of the chapters.

Wendy Harriford Platt –  The chains that were so easily slipped on to my soul were just as easily broken while reading this book!! I kept waiting for my community to insist that abuse be dealt with as it has been called to in other communities. I waited in vain until Greenleaf on OWN. And then, it took root in my soul as I read Leaving My Brother’s House. I read it in one sitting and earmarked so many places to return to in times that I know I will need these words. Thank you!

Tiffany Byrd – This book delves into the things we see brushed under the rug in many
communities of faith. It shows the humanity of being a Christian and follows a journey of deliverance. What is most refreshing is that it doesn’t paint life to be all sunshine and rainbows and presents no easy fix for the ugliness in this world. This book is an invitation to liberation for anyone who can see themselves in its pages.
